전 세계적으로 히트한 이 All About That Bass는 작곡가 주영훈의 '기쁨모드'를 표절했다는 의혹이 있어서 주영훈이 대응을 한다고 했지만 기쁨모드는 Phish의 Contact와 매우 흡사했고, 메간 트레이너 측은 이미 Phish 측과 샘플링 협약을 맺은 상태였습니다.

bass=저음이라고 하면 묵직한 느낌이 들죠. 즉 무게가 나간다는 뜻입니다. 자연스럽게 treble=높은 음은 가벼운 것이 됩니다. 즉 이 노래는 자신은 마르지 않았지만 그것에 대해 개의치 않는다는 메세지가 담겨 있습니다.
