美공군 미니트맨 3 시험발사 성공 동영상

미 공군 지구권타격사령부(AFGSC)는 2일 서부 오전 2시 10분 캘리포니아 주(州) 샌타바버라 북서쪽 반덴버그 공군 기지에서 대륙간 탄도 미사일 (ICBM) 발사 실험을 실시했다고 발표했습니다. 

미국 본토를 사정에 두는 ICBM 개발을 서두르는 북한의 위협을 염두에 둔 것으로 보입니다. 실험은 몇 주 전부터 예정되어 있었습니다.

미니트맨 3가 발사된 기지는 로스앤젤레스(LA)에서 북서쪽으로 130마일(약 209㎞) 떨어져 있으며 美공군 미니트맨 3 시험발사에 제30 스페이스 윙 팀, F.E.워런 공군기지 제90 미사일 윙, 제576 비행 테스트 중대가 참여했습니다. 

최대사거리가 1만3천㎞로, 미 서부 캘리포니아 반덴버그 공군기지에서 평양까지 도달할 수 있습니다. 

동군은 성명에서 "북한의 ICBM 발사 대응 실험이 아니다"라면서도 "미국의 핵무기가 자국과 동맹국에 대한 공격에 대한 억지력과 방어에 대응할 수 있는 것을 입증했다"고 말했습니다.
